A third year student at Kaname's school. In class 3-5. One of the students who gather in the chemistry prep room. Drove an old, rusty five inch nail through his hand.

A kaikyaku whom Youko meets.

Hitsu-ou
必王
Kaze no Banri, Reimei no Sora
A former emperor of Hou. During Hitsu-ou's reign, a sankyaku came and built a Buddhist temple in the kingdom.

Hou-ou
峯王
Kaze no Banri, Reimei no Sora
A name used to refer to the ruler of the outer kingdom of Hou.
Hou currently has no ruler seated on the throne. The kirin of Hou is also dead, and there is no sign of there being born another kirin for Hou, so it is uncertain when another Hou-ou will be enthroned.
The last Hou-ou was Chuutatsu. Other rulers of Hou include the posthumously named Hitsu-ou.

The name of one of Rakushun's teachers. He is very old.

Hourin
峯麟
Kaze no Banri, Reimei no Sora
The kirin of Hou. 登霞 When the emperor of Hou loses his way, she contracts the Shidou sickness. When the people of Hou, led by the Marquis of Kei invade the palace to dethrone Hou-ou and extract retribution, she is killed as well.
